Used primarily as an anti-personnel or anti-vehicle bomb, this bomblet was a single unit - of which there were 360 - that would be deployed mid-flight by a CBU-2A cluster bomb. Each bomblet would violently disperse hundreds of pieces of steel shrapnel upon impacting the ground.
