The AT4 is the US Army's primary light anti-tank weapon consisting of a single, lightweight, self-contained cartridge. The M136 AT4 is both manufactured and fielded by the US and Swedish armed forces. The projectile is a free-flight, fin-stabilized rocket used primarily by infantry forces for engagement and defeat of light armored vehicles and defenses. The AT4 employs a recoilless rifle design which permits the accurate delivery of an 84mm High Explosive Anti-Armor warhead.
