The Remington 7615 Police rifle is a pump-action patrol rifle chambered for 5.56x45mm (.223 Nato). It is employed by numerous police departments throughout the U.S. as the standard long arm carried in a patrol vehicle. Although it fires the same round as an AR15/M16, it is not classified as an assault weapon, and therefore is not subject to the many restrictions placed on police force arms and equipment.
